Everything boils down to mindset. Isn’t it? Our relationships, our career or business even our happiness depends on how we take on things. While each one is talented in something or the other and there are various variables on why one is more successful than the other, but one can’t ignore the importance of mindset in being successful. “Everything begins inside your mind. With the right mindset, you will succeed.” This statement defines it perfectly!

To understand about winning mindset first let’s understand how people succeed. People succeed by outdoing themselves. They thrive on challenges. And see failure as a means for growth and improve on there existing abilities. Successful people are not different; it’s just they have a different mindset. This is the winning mindset! “Eliminate the mindset of can’t! because you can do anything!“ said Tony Horton, the creator of the famous fitness series PX90.

Productivity is the combined outcome of our mindset and the decisions we take with that mentality. Suppose if we have a mindset of giving up on things without trying hard then our productivity is bound to be low as we are not giving our 100%. If you have the right mindset, you would automatically achieve more.

Here is How Winning Mindset Transforms your Productivity

Never giving up: Giving up is the sign that you are weak. When you have a winning mindset, you don’t think of giving up instead you focus your energy on solving the problem and moving forward.  “Never stop trying. Never stop believing. Never give up. Your day will come.” said Mandy Hale, New York Times best-selling author who is affectionately known around the world as “The Single Woman.” Even if you don’t succeed at first attempt try again even harder, until the time you succeed.

It will tremendously improve your productivity as you will have a mindset that you can do anything because of which you will not be afraid of taking challenging tasks, and you will focus your energy on completing it.

Learning from your mistakes: “A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new.” said Albert Einstein. It’s impossible not to make any mistake. Humans make mistakes but the ones who learn from them and improve themselves succeed. Having a winning mindset won’t change anything. You will make mistakes. But learning from them becomes an essential part of your life. You won’t regret that you made a mistake, but you will analyze your mistake and become a better person. Also, your productivity gets a boast as you are learning from your past mistakes and improving yourself. Making yourself more efficient. It’s essential that one doesn’t make the same mistakes again and again as it shows that you are rigid and doesn’t like to learn and improve.

Open to criticism: Many people don’t like criticism. They feel insulted if they get criticised. But the best way to improve yourself is to ask others for feedback or carefully analyze the criticism that others have provided you voluntarily. Even if you don’t like it. There is no point in taking note of every criticism you receive, as not all are genuine. But, you should analyze the one you think you can work on. It will help you improve on personal as well as professional front. And how it will improve productivity? When you receive criticism and work on improving yourself then automatically you will make fewer mistakes. Thereby improving your overall productivity.

Being a critical thinker: Successful people analyze every situation from various perspectives. They pin down the negative and the positive. And with critical thinking and their judgment, try to convert the negative into positive.  This helps in improving productivity as one has already done there analysis and hence will avoid making any mistakes in the future. Thereby, saving time in making rectifications.

Being Curious: “When you’re curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.” said Walt Disney. It is the willingness to question, seek new information and explore new ideas. It’s about the desire to learn new things. But how does it help make you more efficient? When you are curious, you become more active, which makes you more observant of your activities thereby one makes fewer mistakes. Also much more information can be attained by asking questions out of curiosity which will in turn help in performing better.

Remember, Winning mindset is not an Activity!

There is a reason not everyone has a winning mindset. Developing it is not an activity. It’s a lifestyle! One has to incorporate the above points into his life and follow them religiously. Winning mindset not only helps in improving your productivity or help you attain success it will also help you in your personal life. It’s not easy, but if incorporated correctly it has the power to transform anyone’s life.
